Terms of Service

By accessing or using DriveX.lk ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

These terms apply to all users including buyers, sellers, renters, dealers, and visitors. DriveX.lk is operated by DriveX Platform (Pvt) Ltd, registered in Sri Lanka.

To post a listing or access certain features, you must create an account.

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• Your mobile number must be a valid Sri Lankan number, verified via OTP.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must not share your account credentials with others.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

By posting a listing on DriveX, you confirm that:

• You are the owner of the vehicle or have authorisation to advertise it.
• All information provided is accurate and not misleading.
• All photos are genuine photos of the vehicle being advertised (not stock images).
• The price listed is real and the vehicle is genuinely available for sale, rent, or booking.
• You will respond honestly and promptly to enquiries from interested buyers.

Listings are reviewed before publication. DriveX reserves the right to reject, edit, or remove any listing at its sole discretion without notice.

The following content is strictly prohibited on DriveX and will result in immediate account suspension:

• Stolen, cloned, or illegally obtained vehicles.
• Vehicles with fraudulent or tampered odometer readings.
• Duplicate or spam listings for the same vehicle.
• Misleading photos, descriptions, or pricing.
• Requests for advance payments or deposits via unofficial channels.
• Listings that violate Sri Lankan law, including the Motor Traffic Act.
• Any content that is defamatory, obscene, or harassing.
• Listings for vehicles without valid registration (CR Book).

If you encounter prohibited content, please report it using the "Report this Listing" feature.

DriveX is an advertising platform. We connect buyers and sellers but do not participate in, guarantee, or take responsibility for any transaction conducted between users.

• DriveX does not verify the physical condition, ownership, or legal status of any vehicle.
• DriveX is not a party to any sale, rental, or agreement between users.
• DriveX does not hold, transfer, or guarantee any funds between users.
• DriveX is not responsible for any loss, damage, or dispute arising from a transaction between users.

All transactions are conducted directly between buyers and sellers at their own risk. We strongly advise users to read our Safety Tips before meeting.

DriveX offers optional paid features (Boosted Ads, featured placements, etc.).

• All payments are processed securely through our PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway.
• Prices are displayed in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes.
• Once a digital advertising feature is activated, it cannot be transferred or exchanged.
• Refunds are governed by our Payment Policy.

All content on DriveX (excluding user-submitted content) — including the DriveX logo, design, software, and text — is the property of DriveX Platform (Pvt) Ltd and protected by Sri Lankan and international copyright law.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.

By submitting photos and content to DriveX, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, resize, and use that content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Platform.

DriveX reserves the right to suspend or permanently ban any account that:

• Violates any of these terms or our listing rules.
• Engages in fraudulent, deceptive, or abusive behaviour.
• Receives multiple verified complaints from other users.
• Is found to be operating through fake or stolen identities.

You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Upon closure, your listings will be removed and your data handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Any dispute arising from your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.

We encourage users to resolve disputes amicably first. If you have a complaint, contact us at our contact page.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Platform after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

For significant changes, we will notify registered users by email.
